We typically take the Saturday Spirit flight from FLL to SXM. With plans to go in early June and anxious to make flight plans, I'm trying to determine if Spirit is a reliable (within the normal definition of Spirit and reliable, which I know ain't sayin' much in the best of times) option.

I see this report that they will begin service on May 5:
Spirit returns May 5
But I can't find anything from Spirit directly that confirms it. Although their web site is apparently taking reservations. But this would not be the first time Spirit took my money and didn't fly me as promised. 😊

Can anyone give me a citation that confirms Spirit is surely/likely/hopefully going to be flying in early June?

EDIT: I did find this: "Spirit intends to resume its Saturday-only service to St. Maarten on May 5, 2018."

But "intends" is not real confidence-inspiring.

If you do decide to fly with them take a roll of Ductape. LOL
