I am an owner of one of the poolside units above you at Long Bay. Sorry to give bad news, but...

We have heard from the Long Bay management that everything on the beach was destroyed. The only thing left is the 1748 Restaurant stone structure.

They anticipate having to bulldoze the entire area on the north side of the road.

OMG...this is heartbreaking. We stayed at one of the beach front cabanas when we were married at Long Bay 10 years ago. So glad I got to see it in April.

I just received a picture of timeshare area...there are from what I see, 6 units standing (some with roofs others without) The beautiful tree and shrub lines completely gone...very sad to see.
Heartbroken... prayers for everyone experiencing this devastation first hand.

We stayed in the oceanfront cabanas during Lenny. We were holed up for a week there. It was frightening then but certainly not even near what has happened on Tortola and the rest of the BVI.
