Does anyone have any news on how the Ocean Club on Cupecoy fared? I haven't seen any reports from them or from the Green Monkey bar/grill on site. There have not been any updates on their Facebook pages either.

I saw some pictures this morning of the Ocean Club and The Sapphire, and both were heavily damaged. It appears that many of the poolside units at the Ocean Club had lost most if not all of the second floor. The unit right by the entrance had only steel beams left. The big building at the Ocean Club had windows blown out and damage to the exterior. We're booked in December, and hoping for the best.

There is a picture on the OC fb page that a timeshare owner posted in the "Community" section. Severe damage. Looks like the front half of the "tower building" is history, probably a lot more damage that we can't see. Hope all our friends there are OK.

Gomer 36, Sapphire has survived and is still standing per checking on Facebook Sapphire Beach Club owners. I'm an owner and I have not heard or read anything about being destroyed. My wife saw pictures of the front of Sapphire in the news and it looked good for what it had gone through. Ocean Club is in shambles and several buildings are in rubble and structures severally damaged. What images did you see of Sapphire? I want your link please!

I found these images in front of Sapphire Beach Club. No structural damage but lots of large debris, scattered cars on its sides and trees down and vegetation gone. Images were from this forum and images are being hosted on website. Additional images coming of Ocean Club too

I've looked at so many pictures and videos in so many places... I'll have to see if I can track them down. If I can find again, I'll post or provide the link. We were long time owners at Sapphire too. Actually bought before Building 1 was started.
