I watched chasing coral this evening.

If you have not seen it, I think it is well worth watching.

The subject is shocking.

From amazingly beautiful to overwhelmingly sad. Very well done. Thanks for the heads up, Warren.

Watched it a few weeks ago. It was an eye opener to say the least.

It makes me sick thinking how we are destroying our wonderful reefs.

Yes, we do dive.

Loblolly Bay is in horrible shape. But I don't recall it being in good shape.

I recently went out on the horseshoe reef with Sherwin at team work charters.

I made a ttol posting on that.

The parts of the horseshoe reef we swam on appeared to be in good shape.

The thought that so much damage can occur so rapidly is shocking.

I love the diving and snorkling in the bvi.

The risks that this ecosystem faces is almost beyond comprehension.

To AARPskier, Your welcome.

12 years ago we towed up a 21ft RIB full of dive tanks and went around Anegada. We really could not find anything interesting on the North Shore. I think a lot of the reef damage is also storm damage on Anegada added to the bleaching issues.

At that point, we did not have the GPS waypoint for the wreck far out on Horseshoe reef, so we did not go.
