That's perfect for all of the University students. And maybe us at Towers!

Great news indeed. The Chinese grocery store was always handy, but you couldn't get a smile out of them for the most part. Thanks for letting us know, Julius.

Isn't the grocery at Porto Cupecoy already a Carrefour Express?

Not sure, Carol. It was a Grand Marche, I think, but whatever it is (was?), I like their deli but find the store itself to be very crowded so I will welcome something even closer to the Towers as long as there is adequate parking. I don't want much, do I? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Good deli -- tons of parking -- not crowded -- close to the Towers -- I assume great selection and fantastic prices? And we will not even mention the Chauffeur and the free pickup and delivery!

Nah, how could you be asking too much!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes, Carrefour Express is already in Porto Cupecoy. Best deli on the Dutch side.

Parking is getting more and more scarce in Jordan Village as more places open.

Very nice store. Just checked it out this AM. Very convenient. That area around the medical school is very cool.

Is it the same size as the store in Porto Cupecoy?

It looks quite small from the outside but when you walk in it's quite large inside. Has everything you would need. Not sure about the comparison with the other store size wise but it is really nice!

We checked it out this a.m. also. I was very impressed. Of course, it is brand new, but everything looked so fresh. They have a great variety of products. It seems to me to be a little bigger than Puerto Cupecoy and the selection is much better. As Elaine said the parking situation remains to be seen. There is a good amount in front of the store now, but who knows once The Village gets more populated.

Pat, there are 25-26 parking spots in front. Ample if you ask me.

Also they have started work on the replacement gas station in the same location as it was before in Simpsons Bay. Save having to fill up in Cole Bay.

Stopped in yesterday and found a well stocked market that seems a bit bigger that the Porto Cupecoy location. Hard to tell in one stop, but may have larger selection than down the road. There were about 4 open parking spaces when we went by, about 4 pm.

Is the Puerto Cupecoy location where the Grand Marche was?

Yes. Probably the best deli we've found on the island but closer would be even better if the quality and parking are there, too . <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
