We are doing a land-based vacation for a week in July at Villa Adagio in VG. We are coming in a day early flying into St. Thomas. We would like to head over to Tortola for the night or even continue to VG. Anyone have suggestions on where to stay for one night. We need three rooms each sleeping 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids). Maria's by the sea is sold out and have been trying to reach Leverick by email but haven't gotten a response. If staying in Tortola, we are leaning towards Road Town to do a little provisioning and dinner without getting a rental car. We could go onto VG but there are not many hotel choices unless I'm missing something. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried Fischer's Cove?

We always enjoy the Fort Burt Hotel. Great view of the harbor, but we always do it right before a charter so are psyched for all things nautical, at that point. We've enjoyed the restaurant there. The hotel is not very fancy, but adequate and reasonably priced.

I was finally able to get in touch with Leverick and are going to head to VG instead of staying in Tortola. Our flight lands at 1:30 and after looking at the ferry schedule it seems possible we can get there around dinner time. Does this seem doable?
