We're returning to SXM after a five-year absence, and staying at Club O. From what I gather here, the US Imports grocery store is no longer in business, and Tap 5 has also been replaced. Correct? We don't need to do major grocery shopping, but will want to pick up a few things without backtracking to Grand Marche.

US Imports has been closed for quite a while, yes. The Tap 5 has been replaced by Petite Casino. PC has a good selection and they DELIVER, for FREE, if you spend 50E. You can check their website on the TTOL sponsors page. There is also another small market in Orient Village. If you only want small things, those two should suffice.

Looks like Petite Casino (and the Club O boutique) will do the trick. Thanks!

I think I read not long ago that simply will be reopened in November as a grand marche...I hope I got that information correct.

Actually, it was supposed to reopen as a Super U. Supposed to have happened many months ago, but obviously, not yet

There's a small French market in Cul de Sac called Cocci Market. Very nice store, a good variety of nice items. It's across the street from Jam Rock Restaurant. They also have a Facebook page- COCCI Market SXM
