Yellow Sub is about ten minutes walk. They serve Lavzza coffee, which is excellent. We enjoyed a few breakfasts there. I have to mention the rotisserie chicken for a great dinner. You order a day ahead and make sure to get the potatoes. They are cooked in the chicken fat, which makes them awesome.
Also, Orange Fever is a must for lunch. Fresh mussels are delivered Thursday and Friday. We went there three times in five days.
The Perch bar is an absolute must for lunch, if you want maximization of club o beach time.

Thanks. We stayed at another beach resort last time and ate the continental breakfast every morning, so we never really located a good breakfast spot. We ate a lunch and take out pizza from Yellow Sub and both were excellent! The Perch is excellent, Jenny cooks a mean lunch! Will try Orange Fever also

We always take a bag of coffee and make coffee in unit. We go to the boutique when we exchange our towels and have the ladies there hold our breakfast pastries for the next morning. One of us will walk over and get the bagged order while coffee is brewing. That will hold us until we are ready for lunch. If you want hot breakfast without cooking you will need to walk to the village.

Thanks, we will look at those options! We do plan on bringing some DD coffee for our morning beach walk, as its hard to find anyone open that early. I heard you have to pre order pastries from the boutique. Is That true?

You don't have to pre-order. It's a nice option to be sure you get the type of pastries you like, especially if you don't get there close to the 8 AM opening time.

I've always seen pastries available, but I usually get there shortly after opening. Maybe you have to pre-order for particular items or if you can't get to the boutique until later?

Now I'm hungry thinking of fresh baguettes from the boutique... 55 days and I will be enjoying some!

Thanks Joy. We stayed there last year and did the included continental breakfast. We didn't see anyone order menu items, but i did hear they have a new chef now and things have improved.

We like Good Morning! in Orient Village...Just a short walk down the beach. Lovely bakery items, and regular North American fare as well. Coffee is wonderful. It is a busy place in the morning.

We like "Good Morning" as well. Feels like a Parisian Cafe and Bakery near the beach. prices reasonable, service very good.

Is that the place in Orient Village near the Casino market?
If it is, i think we had coffee and pastries there a few times.

The one immediately beside Petite Casino is Macaroon/Yellow Sub.

Oh, ok thanks. What is the one on the other end of that street. It has outside patio seating, a big stainless coffee maker and pastry cases?

There's three places for breakfast on Ave de Plages in Orient - Yellow Sub, Good Morning and Chez Pierrot.

We stayed in the studio directly above "Good Morning" 2 years ago. The early morning smells of them baking was torture.

Might not be what you are looking for, but it's hard to beat fresh almond croissants from LeBoutique and eat them on the porch of your room at Club O. Even a cold pop tart would be good sitting at the picnic table in front of my studio. We have never ventured off for breakfast.
