Spent the day at Pinel Island, took the first ferry over (I'm type A so of course we were there at about 9:15 a.m.), found our chairs at Karibuni closest to the restaurant at a pretty secluded spot in the palm trees, made our reservations for lunch for 2:00 p.m., and spent time relaxing and snorkeling. Have to say we've both seen much better snorkeling, but still had a lot of fun!

We had lunch with Paul and Jane who we met at Orient Beach, had a great time visiting, and lunch was fantastic! Paul and Jane split a salad and lobster, I had chicken and Mike had shrimp; all our meals were wonderful.

I have to add a note here.......we are very relaxed, easy going people and totally understand "island time".... we went to the "yellow area", don't know the name over there, just know we were close and decided to order a drink because we were thirsty from snorkeling... the waiter totally ignored us (seriously for about 5 minutes at least), then a guy who spoke French came up and talked to him and he waited on him immediately. We continued to stand there while he waited on this guy, then cleared away an empty table, then went to talk to other employees, then still never waited on us! I seriously wonder if it was because I was wearing a Green Bay Packers hat! We finally left at went the the orange area.....got waited on immediately by a woman from New York! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> We laughed about it but I was much happier giving our money and tip to someone who was willing to wait on us!
