When we were down last May we rented a car and drove over to Leverick Bay for lunch and to hit the gift shops. When we drove up, the parking lot was blocked off and a sign posted that parking was for hotel guests only. There were only two cars in the lot, but the area around Leverick was packed solid with cars and trucks and we ended up parking half way up the hill on the side of the small road and walking down to the shops. I mentioned this to a clerk in one of the shops and she said she had to park up the hill and walk down, too. Is this parking ban still in effect? We skipped the Jumbies show because of this. We are headed down in May again and would really like to access Levericks restaurants and shops and shows. Update appreciated. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Why not phone them or send them an email and ask?

Yesterday the parking at the bottom was open - not blocked - but there were almost no available spots.

We were also there in May and they had a gate up that didn't work very well. We heard it was to keep Branson's Necker and Mosquito employees from parking there during the day. Last month, there was no gate keeping people from parking . Maybe Nick can help with the current parking policy?

It actually says on our sign Parking for guests using our resort facilitys only. Press the button and the arm lets you in. This is to make sure we always have space for you guys. At nights the arm comes up, there is plenty of space as all workers have gone home
