That boarding business in group 9 will be interesting. Right now, everybody and their brother (EXCEPT ME!!) have priority boarding. We often get group 2 boarding and the plane is 3/4 full before we get on!

Carol, I was 37th on the upgrade list recently (IAH-ORD) And I am platinum. Biggest problem with the mergers is that all of the regular travelers are now priority. Boarding group one, as you mentioned, was 3/4 of the plane!

I generally have just my backpack that fits under the seat in front of me. So I don't mind being the last one on the plane. That's less time I have to spend sitting.

Basic Life class is next. There will be an oval painted on the carpet where the person must stand upright during flight. There are some old Aeroflot pictures somewhere with the passengers standing. How will serve as the carry on police?

I don't think there was anybody in our group with us.
