Getting mixed signals about status of Pro Valor as a charter business. Any updates?

PVC website appears normal. Have emails or phone calls gone unanswered?

I checked with Cecilia and they said it was OK to announce that they have shut down operations at the end of the season. This was done in an organized fashion with boats, sold, moved to other companies or owners becoming live aboards. Basically running a charter company is a hard life and it was time to retire. They had been keeping this very quiet as they were in process of doing this. Amazing that so many of us stayed quiet.
I don't know why nothing has yet been posted on their website.

When is the last time someone counted the number of charter operators in the BVI market? How many of those now have major marketing operations driving business to them?

We have been with ProValor for years and will really miss being with them. Jim and Cecelia asked all to keep a lid on things until all was sorted. Wish them all the best. We have moved over to Seabbatical...looking forward to the coming season.

Best wishes to them. I hope they have a lot of fun doing exactly what they have made possible for countless others. SAIL ON!

We, too, had great experience with Jim & Cecilia and will miss them. They certainly provided exceptional service at very reasonable prices. We wish them the very best in their retirement.
