Hi folks,

First time poster, first time charter Jan 21-29, 2017. We are a group of 6, our return flight out of SJU is 4pm. Is a 130pm flight out of EIS on CaperAir landing at 2:15 enough time to clear customs and safely make our flight at SJU? We are chartering with TMM, we could take the earlier flight at 12, but I think it might things a bit more rushed in the morning.

thx.

We usually have about 2 hours between flights like that. Never been a problem. Delays or long custom lines could change that though. But generally speaking it should be enough time.

Thank you maytrix. I just discussed with Karen at TMM as I was giving her my deposit, and she concurs. Sounds like I will need to be at the fuel dock at 10am at the very latest and 9am would be more prudent, so I am glad that the 130pm works, otherwise it would be an early morning to get off the hook, and a longer day all around.

Odds are decent with Cape Air that if you get to the airport early, they may just put you on an earlier flight as well.

Thanks Matt, good to know. We plan to leave TMM at 11 so that noon flight might be possible. However, not sure how big that plane is and there are six of us.

There were six of us on our last trip...we got to EIS a bit early for the trip home and they put all of us on earlier flights (2 different planes even.)

Plane holds 9 passengers. But as Kirk said, they often have multiple planes leaving at the same time.

Cape Air should escort you to the air crew line to get through US immigration quickly - also if you have a nexus card that will improve the situation - you should be fine.
