This reminds me of an amusing incident on my boat a few years ago. We were leaving a Bitter End dock from a very tight spot near shore. I was focused on not hitting anything with the boat as I navigated out of the dock. My wife cast off the final line but hesitated before jumping on board. The gap quickly became too wide to jump and she was left on the dock. By the time I realized what had happen I was too far into the departure maneuver to backup. She got a ride out with some amused dock workers in their dinghy. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
