Agreed, it is impossible to please everyone. People are not perfect, but in almost all cases, there is no ill will intended, even in a somewhat negative response. The vast majority of people here are just very glad to have tales from the tropics to read. And many times, seeming negative posts are misconstrued. It is difficult to do sometimes, but try not to take negativity to heart. It's just a little message board. Enjoy what there is, share your good experiences and don't worry about those who let negativity rule their lives.
