AH... Red Snapper is an entirely different fish!
No relation to bluefish at all! especially in taste!
Red Snapper is one of my all time favorite eating fish...

when I was a kid on Eastern LI (late 50's/early 60's) there was a farmer in Mattituck that used ground bluefish for fertalizer in his fields...
