I am not sure I would chop the mint leaves, I am not sure you would get the flavor to squeeze out as well.
I just made a large 4x batch of the mint infused rum last night, just took my time.
I like a regular Mojito as far as refreshing, I have also enjoyed a Mojito/Margarita mix as well as a Cucumber Mojito that was excellent.
They are so much work to make a single one, and I also do not like the small bits of mint in my drink so with the infused rum you really only are putting in the mint for decor and a bit of fragrance. Takes a lot of the effort out of the drink, and they are about as close to just as good as I think you can get. Cheers, Todd
