In recent years because of hip and knee issues, Le Galion has become our favorite beach. In our many trips there, we have never had a problem. We park our car as near to the spot where we will encamp on the beach and lock it. The car is close to where we sit in beach chairs, and while in the water we look back to the car. We also avoid weekends, when the beaches are enjoyed by the locals and overcrowding occurs. We enjoy watching the local school kids arriving for their gym/swimming class, and have spoken to many about their lives on the island.
