For St. Martin in particular, if and when you decide on SXM, you probably should post a note on the SXM board. But if you do choose SXM, I personally would pick either Le Petit (on the water in Grand Case, a beautiful small hotel), or it's sister hotel, L'esplanade, larger, not on the water, but with a pool.
