We also started out with one week, then 10 days, now we try to do a full two weeks. We can't relax enough with one week; wouldn't mind trying three next winter. It all depends on what else is going on at home, of course: kids, pets, job commitments. It never feels long enough when the time comes to leave, though I'm often happy to get home to my own bed.
