I'm glad that there was a satisfactory resolution. There really is no special allure to a Club Orient towel - it's just a plain off-yellow towel, a replica of which could be easily bought. I remember the old bright yellow ones, and how non-guests would take similar to the beach.

I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.
