Stella, if you look at the 8th thumbnail picture, the bottom bar is the new "old" bar. Above it are the new facilities. The covered bar is to the left, the seating area for food and drink consumption is to the right, and in front of those areas is a concrete deck, whose exact purpose I'm not aware of (might be more seating for food and drink). In front of that, and a few steps down, is the "old" swimming pool, which underwent no changes.
Off the wall question: You're in Tuscany. Are you aware of a town called Tirennia outside of Pisa? I lived there 4 years as a child and loved it there. Good times.
