Jeff thorton Traveler J Joined: May 2023 Posts: 107 Likes: 1	The breakup was at altitude of 146 km. The distance between Turks & Caicos and SXM is 1,246 km. Assuming that the explosion was right above Turks & Caicos. Given the curve of earth, to be visible in SXM it would have be at least 816 km high. Hence it was impossible to see it from SXM.
