Update on the Parking Area Construction
The County posted this update today:
The parking area at Blind Creek Beach will be closed for renovations starting Monday, Jan. 6 and remain closed through mid-summer.
St. Lucie County’s Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department is launching a major renovation of the parking area to include restroom facilities at Blind Creek Beach - St. Lucie County’s only clothing-optional beach. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by July 2025.
While the parking area is closed, the beach will remain open for pedestrian traffic. Beachgoers, who wish to continue to use Blind Creek Beach, can access the designated clothing-optional section by parking at the Little Mud Creek parking lot, 5460 S Ocean Drive, and proceeding south along the sidewalk on A1A to a temporary beach access entrance or access that from the beachside.
New Year's Day Polar Bare Plunge is Happening!
Join us on the beach on New Year's Day for our annual Polar Bare Plunge. We will jump into the water together at 12 noon!
This is an informal event - no head count or bracelets - just a fun way to start the new year off with like-minded friends. Hope to see you there!
