One place I missed on the report that we stop by often and really enjoy on Monday nights is Huppel the Pub, big fans of Chris and Monique, they have such great smiles and have a work ethic that is rare. Monday nights the live music is awesome and it is great that you can either be in or outside. It gets packed but Chris and Mo push out the cocktails so you don't have too wait long.
There are too many people that we meet and spend time with to name them all, and then I am sure that we would leave somebody out. We met lots of people that we only know from online and unfortunately we did not get to spend enough time with some we hoped to and some we did not get to see at all.
As for my writing skills, I find it funny and am more than happy to make fun of myself. I am not in the league of great trip report writers but glad I can call several of them my friend.
BostonBob - Reading reports by E&S got us to visit DK and meet Deepti, who we have known since she was a teen, that is crazy. Jeff has become a great friend to us as well and Ed really deserves a thank you from MJ and I. This site deserves a thank you from us as well, it is where it all began and so many friendships have been created by TTOL.
We will be heading to Ft Lauderdale over New Years and then a quick week on SXM. Zihuatanejo shortly after that, then a bit of time in New Orleans before heading over to Wellington New Zealand to see our daughter Katie, who on the Queen of SXM's birthday (11/11) became a citizen of NZ and has since bought a house. Pretty excited for that trip, but it won't be very warm!
SXM is the place I learned to relax, no easy change of pace for me but getting better at it, still need more practice. The people to us is #1 why we go, beaches and food after that.
