I remember from maybe ten years ago when someone from Ohio tried to get an Ohio vanity plate as SXM and Ohio denied it as Ohio thought it was a sexual reference !!!
Florida tried that with our LOVE SXM plate, has to tell them it was the airport code for Sint Maarten, OK after that
