I had scheduled a massage with Patty Healing Hands for 8:00am. Much to my surprise she messaged me at 7:15 to say she left early to beat the traffic and she was here. No problem, I just wanted to take a quick shower so I did that as she was setting up She was running a low-season special of 15% off and 10 minutes of reflexology. We had agreed on 60 minutes plus the extra 10 and she ended up doing about 80 or so minutes total. It was a very good massage and I would highly recommend her.
I made a quick trip into town to pick the rest of the jewelry repair. No ships and it was dead. I came down by Great Bay to get a closer look at the beached ship. Going back, the round-a-bout in from of Mark’s Place had a herd of goats grazing on the grass that was there. Not the best place with all the traffic.
I took several dips in the ocean here at Horny Toad. Very nice conditions and relaxing. Thanks to GEBE, another outage at about 2:30 and this time it did something to the Starlink internet/wifi here. Angela tried resetting it multiple times but to no avail.
I still have an island cell phone and my home cell and a laptop but without wifi, you are really limited. I made a HH stop at Lee’s to get some wifi and make a couple of calls before meeting Junior Bruney for dinner at Mark’s Place.
At 7:00, we were the ONLY people in the place, which was very unusual. Mark said business had been good and we noticed many carry-out orders waiting to be picked up. I am wondering if the heat is keeping people from some of the non a/c restaurants. I had the mussels special and Junior had mahi-mahi. Both were very good and reasonable.
