Here in Canada, my wife and I have renewed our passports on line, very easy. We completed the on-line application, got our photos taken at our drug store and set up an appointment date and time to meet with a representative. All we did was bring our documents and old passport, it takes about fifteen minutes at the office. Our new passport arrived a few weeks later. It's good for another ten years.
