When we were at OBBR this past winter, we were told that the property had been purchased by an Italian company that planned to put in a 'high-end' marina with a few low rise condos. Apparently the company already has some business in St. Barths also. They said that OBBR management had had some discussions with the company and was happy with the intended plans.
Its my guess that it will take a considerable amount of time to acquire the necessary permits and actually start construction, let alone complete it.
