We hadn’t been to Friar’s Bay Beach for many years. We were not fans of the rocky entry to the water or the pot holes in the road. We decided to give it a try this year primarily because of the recent positive posts on this site. We visited three times in our 18 day stay. Fewer pebbles and easy entry into the water. Very calm and no seaweed. We hung out at the 798 Beach Club two of our visits and had a wonderful time. Great food and service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent with a great selection to choose from. The beach in general is very interesting. Each day there were school children bused there. One day it was for swimming lessons, another day sailing lessons and today kayaking. Glad we gave Friar’s a second chance.
