I agree with Charlie and Elaine. There is very little regulation for real estate on the island. It would be nice if there was MLS where you could look at legitimate listings and check what was available. But that is not the case. My condo listing remained online with multiple sites for 3 years after I had bought it . There are many real estate sites online but unfortunately not accurate much of the time. I purchased my place after Irma and went through the process. If you can find a good reliable real estate professional, that would be the way to go.
