From PP an easy motor/sail the 1st day to the anchorage at Ilet Gosier. Then reach to Marie Galante which is about as far to windward is you likely want to sail from PP. Definitely take a car around the island very neat place still very agricultural as opposed to touristy. Lots of cane and Rhum production, and as Carol says stunning scenery. Head downwind to the Saintes from there.
Some of the best diving in the entire Eastern Carib is to be had in Guadaloupe. The marine park at Ile Pigeon, and Sec Pate in the channel are some favs of mine.
