St Croix got a bad rap from the Fountain Valley Golf Course Massacre about 40 years ago.
Now it's called the Carambola beach resort.
St Croix still has crime like most of the US islands and other Caribbean islands due to the fact that most of the population is related whether by family or friends so crimes committed aren't pursued which is frustrating to the victims family or a total abomination to the families who lost a loved one.
Otherwise it is a beautiful island like others in the Caribbean
