Day 8 - Last day in Oyster Pond, so probably last bakery goods from Bread n'Butter. Packed up and checked out of Oyster Bay Beach Resort. Our little car made it up hill to Luci's house to pick up a couple jars of her Mango and Peach Chutney. Got a quick tour of the damage and on going repairs to her house. Onward to gas station in Orient to fill tank. A stop at Tijon Perfumerie in Grand Case to see John and Cyndi(owners). Took note of my fused glass projects available for sale there. A drive down to elZafiro Hotel to check in. Had the Emerald Room again which was fine. Lunch was at Fat Tony's up by the entrance to the SXM Medical School. Chicken wings with BBQ suace. Tasty. After the traditional nap we drove to SMYC for a Caesar Chicken Salad. Poor Marcos was overloaded with people. The plan was to then go hear Bob Baron singing at Hole In The Wall in Maho. Got there too early, so watched the street entertainment from the Casino Royale. Went inside Casino,....we are "weak people". Betty over a $100., Norm - lost. Then it was back to original plan to listen to Bob. Enjoy the music. Saw this "cat' person,.....that we all love!
