There are bad apples everywhere...why would SXM be any different? How many of us can say that we can now watch ANY NEWS CAST in any city in the USA, and NOT hear about a shooting?? I am not talking about the larger massacres...I am talking about robberies....rapes...the one on one crime type? Unfortunately, this is a way of life ANYWHERE. All we can do is try to be aware of current surroundings always, use common sense...and pray that the next person you may see walking up the street, getting out of a car...or sitting next to you at a restaurant, is not a crackpot with a gun.
