Thank you for that info. The last time we visited with the Lynns they were discussing a possible move to St. Lucia - sorry to hear that the place closed becaused he passed away instead of moved.
I remember conversations with them back in the mid 90's when they would tell us that that they were so distraught about what happened to their beautiful island. To see it now would probably have killed them. They had a stunning collection of photos of island life from their early years in St. Martin, and I think you are correct about the timeframe they moved there. I believe that many of the photos were the inspirations for his paintings.
I only have one Lynn original and many prints (could not afford his originals even in the 90's) but we cherish them all the same. There is a whole gallery wall of his work in my home and I smile every day when I pass it - not only remembering my wonderful times with them but my early vacations in St. Martin.
I am in NYC so I will try to contact Peter to see if any of his father's work is still available and will let everyone on the board know the answer.
