I have stayed at both the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 and the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina. In fact, I'm staying at the latter later this month the nights before and after my next cruise. They clearly are not the least expensive you can get, but they are close to the port and have nice views of the marina. When I was at the Hilton last year, there was a van which took guests to the various piers, and I think it was around $6-8 PP. I can't remember if Pier 66 had the same thing or not. Both have multiple restaurants on the property.
