I contacted Sunsail yesterday concerning our 10/20 charter. After discussing other options such as different locations and dates Sunsail provided us a full refund. I'm not sure this would be an option if sailing after 10/31. We look forward to doing other charters with Sunsail and hopefully in the BVI's sooner rather that later. I wish others in a similar situation the same good fortune. Thanks Sunsail!
If Sunsail-Moorings comes out as the only or one of a few who returned advance payments that will turn out to be a major marketing advantage when the muck dries and the sediment is washed away from Irma.
Some wild guessing math. 500 yachts returning 5,000 in advance payments a week is $250,000 in cash going out from someone each week. When will cash start flowing in the other direction at what rates times what number of yachts?
Do you have the name and extension number of the rep who is returning money?
