We fly Jet Blue (Direct-Boston-Sxm)every year in Jan, this year Jan 28-Feb 11 and when I went to book this year the price was $1,300.00 per ticket on our direct flight. Needless to say we decided to fly American(1 stop each way with a 3 hour layover in New York coming home)for $550.00 per ticket. I just checked Jet Blue for the hell of it and the price dropped to $379.00 DIRECT both ways per ticket. Luckily American refunded our entire cost due to cancelling our original reservation. So I booked Jet Blue using our points (41,000 + $149.00 TOTAL) for BOTH TICKETS. So now we get to fly direct and CHEAP.
