Caneel Bay Resort is not a big fan of sharing their dock or property. If you want to go ashore and eat they are more than happy to accommodate you. They do not however want to be the remote dock for Cruz Bay and do not want people passing through the property that way. It is unfortunate but understandable from a business stand point. They really only leaves the anchorage at Caneel Bay and a dinghy ride in to town as a viable option.
