We hovered around for at least a half hour trying to find a mooring ball along with several other boats who'd arrived after us. One finally opened up and another boat tried to snag it before us but we got it, the skipper of that boat wasn't very pleased, but we'd been waiting longer. I was impressed with Jim's skill in navigating Tri-World, he can put her where he wants, when he wants. I watched the same boat that tried to grab our ball miss another one, there were some words exchanged and I don't think they were friendly greetings.

Jim took our passports and $125.00 BVI tax to clear us through customs, we didn't have to make an appearance but had to stay on the boat till he cleared us through. He's back in quick order and we're off for a little shopping. I got some cigars and hot sauces, Heidi got new sandals, Toby found some sunglasses. When we were all shopped out we parked ourselves at Pusser's for drinks. There was a guy sitting at the next table who was totally ate up from the knees down with no-seeum bites. This guy must have been miserable, his legs were solid welts, yikes!
Jim picked us up at the dock and back at the boat Katie had Fettuccini Alfredo ready for lunch. Jim was working on the boat for our entire stop, I found out later it was a fuel leak. It was a glitch for him but not for us, it delayed our departure from Sopers a little but we enjoyed boat and people watching.

Clouds had been building all morning and we left for Norman Island and the Bight in a mist/drizzle around 2:00pm. Drizzle turned into a hard rain about half way to Norman Island. We decided to go to The Caves for a snorkel before mooring for the night in the bight. The sun came out as we approached Norman Island. We almost had the place to ourselves, no other boats and just a few dinks from the Bight. Snorkeling was fantastic!!! Toby saw another ray, this one a little bigger, 3ft. across. Heidi was getting the hang of snorkeling and had a blast getting sucked into one of the caves and spit back out by the waves. I was first out of the water then Toby. Diane and Heidi swam up to the rocky beach and did some shell hunting. We arrived at the Bight just before sunset. Katie served appetizers for happy hour. We made a quick run to the Willy T to check it out and redeem our coupons for a free happy hour drink that I printed out from their website. Make sure you ask the bartender to see the photo albums, there are two, wow! Dinner back on the boat was BBQ ribs.

After dinner back to the Willy T for some serious partying we also checked out Billy Bones where we bought a pirate flag to go under the TTOL banner. Only two jumpers for the night at Willy's, both were guys. Only one body shot for the night, Diane said the tequilla was cold.[Linked Image] Can't wait for the pics.
