We just got back in mid-May after 3 weeks and your trip took us back once again for 3 more weeks. You did many of the same things we did, but we stayed on the French side and did notice police out many times during the day and evening. We usually don't travel to the Dutch side at all anymore after dark. Too many safer places on the French side where we don't have to worry as much. Thanks for the great post.
