I certainly hope it isn't, his wife is in Germany to give birth to their child; that would make it a triple tragedy.

I responded to your Trip Advisor post so won’t repeat that novel here - lol. Glad to see that you posted here as well - as you can see, this is a great resource.

Zanshin--hopefully it isn't true. I know that the Daily Herald does not have a paper on Saturday (like my paper here at home). Best wishes.

I just got a message that a fellow cruiser that I know was fatally shot yesterday in a robbery at a Cadisco; but I couldn't see a reference in the Daily Herald. Has anyone heard of this?

Sorry to hear about the poor experience at the Sandbar -- we enjoyed going there for a drink and quick bite. We will have to give D's a try!

Coco Maya has great food However I would check if they have the DJ and disco if you are visiting in evening
I must be getting old … could barely hear the waitress or our group talking!!
And we were furthest away from the DJ.
Cheers
Bob

Had dinner at Coco Maya last year and the food was excellent. Would also recommend Sugarcane at Nail Bay

Then restaurant you were asking about in VG is "The Rock" We had a fantastic meal there in April. Never been to Coco Maya but everyone seems to like it. Just not our "thing"

Yesterday Letica Paul at Leverick Marina arranged a slip for us and a rental car with L&S. We were last there in 2017 before hurricane Irma. Based on those experiences we made reservations or plan to eat at; Cooper Island Beach Club Hog Heaven Chez Bamboo unless we can find the name of the restaurant in VG with tables up in the boulders with a lot of greenery. Wonky Dog and Potters by the sea CGB seeking suggestions for dinner. Norman Pirates Bight We are six adults and seeking feedback on restaurants. Also, we need a car on Anegada.
Restaurant you are looking for and want to go to is Coco Maya https://www.cocomayavg.com/

There isn't a law for booster seats on the island that I am aware of.
With that said, the guidelines are usually 40 pounds is the minimum weight for a belt positioning booster seat - until that point they should still be in a forward facing 5-point harness. They should remain in a belt-positioning booster until they reach 4' 9". The concern being will the lap belt sit across their lap (and not belly) and will the shoulder belt be off of their neck. There are some option out there for very simple and easily portable boosters, like mifold (avoid the bubblebum it didn't work well for us).

We arriving next week. Can't wait its been seven years. We arriving with our 6.5 year old daughter. She weighs approx. 40 pounds (18 Kilos) and here in Wisconsin, at that weight, she must sit in a booster seat. In my mind she ir right on the bubble and most of here pals are now with out. Does SXM have similar laws that we need to adhere to? -thx

Do check the night before that your flight is posted ontime in the morning. If not it gives you time to work on other arrangements.

We first stopped at BZH because we saw gendarme parked there and hubby said, "where the police eat is usually good food." So we went in for Gaulantes excellent. Another time we stopped for dinner, again very good.
