3.84 million for Ante S.
The Croatian Ante S., accused in the course of the manipulation scandal in German soccer around Robert Hoyzer, is said to have received a total of 3.84 million euros from the state sports betting company Oddset through his betting transactions in online cricket betting sites in indian rupees.

This is reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung with reference to internal lists of state lottery companies available to the Berlin public prosecutor's office. According to the report, Oddset is said to have accepted large stakes from Ante S. in 2004 despite suspicions of manipulation.
Ante S. is said to have bet a total of 816,500 euros in seven rounds at Oddset, thus achieving a net profit of more than three million euros. Oddset had already introduced certain locks for high bets in 2001, but Ante S. was apparently able to circumvent them.

The accused sits since end of January in Berlin in remand. He is accused of "gang and commercial fraud". He is alleged to have incited ex-referee Hoyzer to manipulate, among other things, the regional league match between Eintracht Braunschweig and St. Pauli and the DFB Cup match between SC Paderborn and Hamburger SV. S. collected almost 1.4 million euros for correct tips in these two rounds alone.
