Yes was much improved at our stay in January, but,,, upon checkout we were paying the $50 tax with credit card,,, paper jam in machine,, no problem just fix paper and run card again,, you guessed it now two charges. Have been emailing and phoning since January to no avail, not even a reply. Customer service still a long way to go.

Just dispute the charge with your credit card company. Let them do the legwork.

Canuck54,
I absolutely agree with GaKaye. Call your cc company and tell them you were billed twice. They will research and refund the second billing.

We stayed there the first two weeks of March and were pleasantly surprised . Elevators worked, no water or air conditioning issues, and staff was extremely friendly! I was greeted at check in with a greeting and handshake. No issues with housekeeping as we had service each day. The onsite manager seems to be making a difference. We were also shown the remodeling project and the newly remodeled rooms are really nice. Things are looking up if the project is finished as planned!

I can only say I hope you are right. As owners who luckily were able to unload our units awhile ago, This must be the 3rd or 4th installment of renovations that were going to be done and never were. My hope for the owners who are still holding on is that it turns out well.

Something must be happening there. The Armed Forces Vacation Club has bunches of units available through at least July. The club is affiliated with RCI so the Sapphire must be back in their good graces because they were removed when all the big problems happened. Hopefully the place is making the repairs necessary to be the first class place that they once were.

Stopped in during a walk last week. It looked dingier and smelled worse than our last stay there 2 years ago.

Ditto ditto, ditto. We saw improvements with resort, more activities offered, plus staff was friendly & helpful. A big change in overall atmosphere. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
